The first meeting I attended was near Christmas time at Sun Bros Café. I was touched by the friendly atmosphere and the comradery among these Bold Ladies. So many members made me feel welcomed and introduced themselves. The obvious care for the community and excitement to serve affected me, and I knew I had to become more involved. I signed up to speak to a women’s group in the area. The women’s group coordinators were so excited to know that another Bold Lady would inspire them—Bold Ladies already had this great reputation. Finding women who have each other’s back is not always easy. Finding women in business, who love supporting other women in business, is an even harder task. I joined Bold Ladies in Business a few months after opening Premier Chiropractic and Wellness with Dr. Erika Equizi.
Our first event was such a joy! Everyone there was wonderfully welcoming and made us feel right at home. With the passing months, while attending the monthly gatherings, we met more and more of the amazing women who form this group. With new friendships came the blessing of building strong connections in the community. Having people who help each other thrive in our circle in turn helped increase our Injury clinic and Medi-spa patient base tremendously.
We are halfway into our 3rd year in business now, I am happy to report that we are thriving as a business, but more importantly, thanks to Bold Ladies in Business, we have formed bonds and alliances with likeminded, strong women and leaders of our community, right here in Flagler County!
